The Latest on the Blue Jackets
By Bethany | July 15, 2008
- The Blue Jackets have traded Joakim Lindstrom to the Anaheim Ducks for a pick. According to Puck-Rakers the pick all depends on how well Joker plays, it could be as high as a fourth-round pick and as low as a seventh-round pick.
- Also, the Jackets have re-signed center, Derek MacKenzie and signed UFA center, Craig MacDonald. Both contracts are two-way contracts which mean that they will make more money in the NHL than in the AHL.
- The Jackets have also signed, Clay Wilson, Andrey Plekhanov, and John Vigilante. Plekhanov signed a two-year contract and Wilson and Vigilante signed one-year contracts. All three were two-way contracts.
- It is also national Raffi Torres day, with the Dispatch writing a piece on him, and there is a feature on BlueJacketsTV.
