Playoff Predictions

Eastern Conference

Montreal Canadiens vs Boston Bruins

How easy is that, the Habs have a crazy good team. Bruins have Timmy Thomas…it is looking like Patrice Bergeron might be back. Just not for game one. I’m guessing Habs in 5.

Pittsburgh Penguins vs Ottawa Senators

The Sens are a great team with loads of talent…as do the Pens. I don’t like the Pens, so Sens it is. They haven’t been playing well as of late, but my guess is they’ll get it together for playoffs. Sens in 5 just like last year.

Washington Capitals vs Philadelphia Flyers

The Caps are on a roll. I want to see them do well, my love for Feds and Ovechkin well comes way way before Lupul. So there is my logic. Caps in 6.

New Jersey Devils vs New York Rangers

Marty Brodeur vs King Henrik, Brodeur will win. Brodeur turns on a different switch come the playoffs. The thing that worries me the most about this series is Scott Gomez, he’s sooo familiar with Marty but, I have faith in my all time favorite player. Devils in SeVeN.

Western Conference

Detroit Red Wings vs Nashville Predators

I think the Preds have a chance to win the series, they’re a tough team to play against, but, the Preds are riding Dan Ellis. Detroit has two goaltenders that are both capable of well, being solid goaltenders. The Wings have the talent, and the skill that Nashville lost last season. Wings in 6.

San Jose Sharks vs Calgary Flames

I don’t know!!!!! You can’t expect me to actually pick one of these teams. I love them both. The Sharks are crazy good…as are the Flames. Someone in seven.

Minnesota Wild vs Colorado Avalanche

Adam Foote, Peter Forsberg, Joe Sakic, need I say more. Avs in 6.

Anaheim Ducks vs Dallas Stars

Sure the Ducks may be missing Corey Perry, but they are a DOMINATE team. Their goaltending is outstanding, and well, Marty Turco isn’t very successful in the playoffs. Ducks in 6.
