MY SETOGUCHI MAKES A RETURN!!
By Bethany | March 1, 2008
Sorry I’m not very exciting…but here is a bulletpost with a bunch of random things in it…I hope you enjoy it. It’s not just about Seto either so if that’s what you’re worried about. There is a little check in with my favorite prospects (Voracek, Legein, and Mason) and that’s about it. Check it…by clicking…
- Well, as you may or may not know, the San Jose Sharks called up my beloved Devin Setoguchi, after the game in Columbus of course. (The Sharks GM hates me for whatever reason) Devin played his first game back in Detroit and it was a big game for youngster. He netted two goals and got named the first star of the game. I am really hoping that the kid is still up with San Jose come March 11th when I’m down in Nashville. Way to go Dev!!!!!!
- Also Yahoo! graded the NHL trades and well the CBJ did ok. Here’s what they had to say about us:
Columbus Blue Jackets – Grade: B: While there were some contract talks with Adam Foote, the Blue Jackets eventually did what most expected – dealing away their veteran defenseman who was captain and 38-year-old once star center Sergei Fedorov. Columbus’ better days still are ahead. The best thing the Jackets could have done was hold on to their young players and prospects, and that’s what they did despite the temptation of a first postseason visit, which is a long shot at best in the competitive West.
- Here’s an interview of Brassard from the QMJHL website. *Thanks to QGirl for sending it to me!!*
- Jakub Voracek is second in scoring in the QMJHL he has played in the fewest games (47) whereas the point leader has played in 58 games and has 98. Jakub has 95, let’s hope he can get some more points tonight when they play the Moncton Wildcats. Go Moose.
- Oh and Jackets fans Voracek can fight too check it:
- Stefan Legein is still not back from his shoulder injury…hurry up buddy!!
- Steve Mason is on top of his game still going 29-6-1-2 in 38 games played. He has three shutouts, with a 2.52 GAA and a .917 save percentage. Mason also has the opportunity to win the Memorial Cup this season…let’s hope you do it kid, then come to the Jackets and win Lord Stanley with us!!!!
