Jackets Sign Mikko Maenpaa

The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed a one year two-way NHL-American League Contract. Maenpaa has played in the Finnish Elite League since the 03-04 season. This season he played 52 games and got 14 goals and 26 assists for a total of 40 points and a +16 rating and 48 penalty minutes. Mikko Maenpaa is from Tampere, Finland. In 2002 he played for Finald in the World Junior Championships and played 6 games and had four penalty minutes. That year Finland captured a bronze medal.
