First liveblog of the season!!

6:55 ~ Yup that’s right I will be liveblogging tonight, it should be a good time so be sure to stick around! The Blue Jackets are taking on the Nashville Predators tonight. We have not beat the Preds in 12 games. Pascal Leclaire will be in net tonight.
7:02 ~ I am so ready for this game, I can feel it, it’s our night, I just know it. They’re talking about Nikolai Zherdev, just drop the puck already!!
7:09 ~ Game is underway it’s going to be a great one, and the guy with the glasses that sits behind the bench is back, sweet!!
7:12 ~ First penalty of the game is going to the Jackets, it’s going to be Manny going off for roughing. Interesting. Hitch is yelling at the ref.
7:13 ~ Pazzy made a save then the next shot went off the goalpost.
7:15 ~ Way to go Jackets. We killed off the penalty kill and got a couple of chances.
7:16 ~ Derrick Brassard taking a face off. He looks great out there, he’s on the line with Boll and Shelley. Is it bad that I didn’t notice that Shelley was a healthy scratch last night? I love the guy but sometimes he’s invisible, like if he doesn’t fight…haha.
7:18 ~ Commercial time 
7:24 ~ Sorry I got a phone call, there is 10:03 left in the first period. Danny is talking about Shelley and his presence in the locker room and on the bench. Aaron portzline once told me that if Shelley wasn’t a 4th line winger he’d be the captain of this hockey team. I believe it, if you’ve ever talked to the man you know the passion that he has for the game. He wants this team to be successful and he is willing to do what it takes for this hockey club. By the way Jordin Tootoo is out!! HOLLA!!
7:30 ~ There is going to be a goal soon, I can feel it, and the crowd NEEDS it. A goal by the Blue Jackets, let me be specific, Zherdev is going to get it I know it!!
7:31 ~ I hate dump and chase…which is what the past few minutes have been. There are 5:45 left in the first.
7:33 ~ Shelley almost scored, that would have been THE greatest thing ever. By the way how hot is the guy from PS I love you, Gerard Butler *he’s also in 300*…but wow he’s pretty.
7:36 ~ Lindstrom got called for interference, we’re on the penalty kill, again.
7:41 ~ 5 shots each on goal. We are still scoreless at the end of the period. I will be back for the start of the second. Also, they are interviewing Howson if he says anything significant, I will put it up, if not, then I won’t.
7:42 ~ Just found out that Tootoo is injured, I feel bad for the guy, I hate him but I don’t want him hurt. He has a hip flexor injury. Also, Sergei Fedorov is out with a hip pointer.
7:55 ~ WOW! We are out hitting the Preds 10 to nothing. That’s a good thing. Also, there’s a commercial with Freddy Mo, how I miss him. Word on the street is he could be back by the end of next week!!
7:59 ~ Second period is under way. They said that Brassard wanted to play 15 minutes last night haha. He played 6:36.
8:02 ~ Feature on Chimmy, he got his first goal in 26 games last night. The speed line was back together last night and looked good.
8:04 ~ The crowd is getting into it, it looks really packed, wish I could have made the trek up there but you know sitting in bed liveblogging isn’t THAT bad.
8:05 ~ Columbus is going on the power play, Gelinas for tripping *who the hell is Gelinas*
8:08 ~ Jackets are just peppering Mason, holy cow, this is impressive.
8:10 ~ How much do I love Jan Hejda? I mean seriously. I am so glad that Howson signed him this offf season. He is leading our team in plus/minus…and he wants to remain a Blue Jacket.
Defenseman Jan Hejda, an unrestricted free agent, said he would like to sign a three- to four-year contract. General manager Scott Howson has told Hejda’s agent, Larry Kelly, he might want to start contract talks later in the season.
The team leader with a plus-9 rating, Hejda is perhaps Howson’s best offseason acquisition. He was signed to a one-year, $1 million deal.
Asked whether he would like to remain a Blue Jacket, Hejda said, “Of course, 100 percent.”

8:12 ~ Jan Hejda just took a penalty for delay of game.
8:14 ~ I think Danny boy just called Pazzy a beach ball…I don’t get it…maybe he called the puck a beach ball. I am confused.
8:21 ~ Just watched Pazzy get in touch with his god self. He has made save after save, he’s in the zone tonight. THAT A KID PAZZY!! You’re my All Star!!
8:22 ~ Hitch has Russell, Methot, Brassard, Boll all on the ice at the same time. Wow, that is great. Our future is bright!!
8:27 ~ Dion signed an extension HAHA!!
8:28 ~ Methot just delivered a thundering hit quite impressive even though I can’t stand the kid. 3:16 left in the second.
8:30 ~ Radulov just scored with 1:25 left in the second.
8:32 ~ End of the second, Preds are up 1-0. Interesting that Brassard has played nearly 6 minutes tonight. Foote has already played 17:37, he’s going to have a looong night. Also, the boys who were on the ice for the Preds goal…oh wait OLE IS GETTING INTERVIEWED!!!
8:40 ~ Ole will be back next week!! THANK GOD!! Ole is missing his tooth but he looks adorable, I can’t wait for him to be back, it’s been too long without seeing him on the ice. His out of control style is what this team has been missing, well it’s what I have been missing!!
8:50 ~ Third period under way, I know we can do this boys, let’s get it together please!!
8:53 ~ Come on boys Boll was just up ended, I about had a heart attack, good lord.
8:56 ~ Methot is earning my love with every punishing check he does. Just an FYI.
8:57 ~ Seriously we got SIX goals last night we need two to win right now, go ahead and put everything on Mason, he’s not that good…seriously.
8:59 ~ Ok, I have to go help my mom, hopefully something good happens while I’m’ gone.
9:06 ~ KLESLA SCORED!! WE ARE TIED AT ONE A PIECE!!
9:20 ~ 55 seconds left, if we won I will go to church tomorrow!!
9:21 ~ We got a point and are heading into overtime…I hate it. I will keep my promise if we win I’m going to church…you hear that Jesus!!
9:32 ~ We’re going to a shootout, mom says she feels good about it. I don’t know about all this…
9:40 ~ WEE DID IT!!! HELL YES!!! EAT IT PREDS I AM GOING TO CHURCH TOMORROW!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!
