Also, my brother and I are having a hard time deciding what my mom should be called when she becomes a grandmother, here is a survey with the final six names. Please vote wisely as she has agreed to be called whatever you people decide. I have also hidden the results, so I will be announcing the final name one month from today.

My oldest couldn’t say “Grandma” so he said “Ginky”. Not sure how he got that but it stuck and she is still Ginky. She was hoping for a cooler name!

I voted for Granny Hoo Ha, just because it’s hilarious. My cousins and I always called my grandma “Grandma” and then when I was about 15 she told my dad that she would prefer to be called “Grams”. WHAT?! I refused (and still do) to call her “Grams” because I had gotten so used to calling her “Grandma”. You can’t change what you’re called after being a grandma for 18 years.

KMS2, I love Granny Hoo Ha!! That’s why I put it on there!! It’s totally winning right now! I call my dad’s mom MaMaw and my moms mom Granny…even though all the other kids call her MeMaw…
